Ethel Mae Berringer was born October 4, 1920 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and died on 9/9/2017. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Parmeley, her granddaughter Jennifer Carr, and her great-grandchildren, William, Atticus, and Elizabeth Carr as well as her sister Ruth Chase, her brothers Ronald and Telford Hagans, and her niece Renee Tasker Roberts, as well as other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband William Berringer. Ethel Mae Berringer was born October 4, 1920 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and died on 9/9/2017. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Parmeley, her granddaughter Jennifer Carr, and her great-grandchildren, William, Atticus, and Elizabeth Carr as well as her sister Ruth Chase, her brothers Ronald and Telford Hagans, and her niece Renee Tasker Roberts, as well as other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband William Berringer. Throughout her life, Ethel worked as a clerk for Stores Grocery, an office assistant at Letterkenny Army Depot, the director of a preschool, and as a young woman, she and her sister pastored a small church. Ethel was born on the family homestead in Pennsylvania and lived there until the early 1950s, when she and her husband moved to Florida to establish a church. Mr. Berringer was a pastor and a teacher and Ethel dedicated her life to her church, her family, and her church family. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, 9/22 at 2 pm, at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City, Fl.
